- Roll of Paper Towels (the kind with the smaller sheets are best)
- Knife and Cutting Board
- Create a Natural Cleaning Solution
- See Below
- Essential Oils, Lavender and Ylang Ylang
- Container (this mom ingeniously uses an old ice cream pail with a lid. Green & Perfect!)
Natural Cleaning Solution:
There are a couple different cleaning solutions that we found rated highly. Take your pick or try them at different times to see what works best for you!
- 2 1/4 cups water
- 2 T Baby Wash
- 1 T Baby Oil or Mineral Oil
- 2 Cups Very Hot Water
- 2 T Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
- 2 T Natural Baby Wash or other Non-Agitating Liquid Soap
Cut the paper towel roll in half and remove the outer plastic. Make sure you have a very sharp knife for this. Some Mom’s have even went so far as to use a miter saw to get a nice, quick & clean cut.
Mix up the Natural Cleaning Solution of your choice above. Place the paper towel into the solution and let it sit and soak for around 15 minutes. After that time is up, flip the paper towel roll around so that the other side is able to soak well, also.
After letting it soak for another 15 minutes after you flipped over the paper towel roll, pull out the cardboard tube in the center. This will be easy to do since it has soaked throughly for awhile.
Voila! Gently pull up the wipes from the middle and you’re ready to use it right away!
The entire paper towel roll will last you around 3 weeks, with 1/2 of the roll lasting about 1 1/2 weeks. How great is this and it’s so EASY! Give this a whirl and we’re sure you’ll never buy baby wipes from the store again!
